You should submit one to the ghost story comp, RWG! They just want ghosts in the summer!

Here's the link: http://www.creative-competitor.co.uk/competitions.htm They say that most ghost stories tend to be set in winter which is why they've chosen summer, but I didn't really think ghost stories had seasons!

Nope, neither did I! I'll have a shoofty through my stuff...
The winning entry will be published in She magazine... so I don't think it's the type of stuff us guys write!

'Prise' D'oh!
She: The magazine for women who juggle their lives - delivering style and substance, lifestyle solutions, emotional support and inspiration.
How disappointing! They should've done a more open comp!

*yawn*
Yeah it's a shame, even if they wouldn't take fantasy/horror it doesn't sound so much like the other stuff I'd write...all a bit pink & fluffy!
Annoying actually as it kind of suggests that they think the people who watch this morning/are home at that time of the day aren't smart enough to want to read anything but formulaic chick lit!

Yeah I could try to write some normal stuff, but I think they want romantic chick lit, and I'd struggle with that!
It is annoying, I know it probably is mostly housewives who watch it, but still, they might not all be into chick lit!
Well I'm peed off now! I've gotta go to work now. Back later!
