Glad you like it...There are a lot of funny quotes on this site...I like the "Stephen Wright" quote page...He's the comedian with the strange punch lines...I like this one:

"If toast always lands butter-side down, and cats always land on their feet, what happens if you strap toast on the back of a cat and drop it?"

By the way, do you know anything about "Stocking Fees" that stores charge publishers? I've heard that some stores, or maybe it is chain stores, like Barns and Noble, charge 300 dollars for each book they stock...I may be wrong in this...

I'm not sure how that works herebut I do know that the major players here (Easons and Waterstones) have a huge say in what publishers publish and when, according to what they think they'll be able to sell. I think this is at least partly responsible for the dumbing down of the market and personally I think it shows contempt for people who buy books, like they don't want anything other than pop fiction, as if anythign challenging is bad.
