Rules
The Poetry Prize is open to anyone living in Staffordshire, Cheshire or Shropshire aged 16 or over.
Poems must be no more than 40 lines and in English. Entries must be the original work of the author and
should not have been published. Entries must be anonymous. Revisions cannot be made to entries once
submitted. Entries will not be returned under any circumstances.
There is no limit on the number of poems entered by an individual but entries will be accepted only
when accompanied by an entry form. (One form covers multiple entries). Receipt of entries will only be
confirmed if an sae/postcard is enclosed. The decision of the judges will be final.
Closing date for receipt of entries is 3 September 2007. Prizewinners will be announced at Keele University
on Thursday 4 October.

Fees
The first poem submitted costs £4.00. Additional entries in the same submission will be £2.50.
Concessionary rates (students, unwaged and over 65s) are £3.00 and £2.00 respectively.
Please make cheques / postal orders payable to ‘Keele University’.

I've moved it to the competitions section to try keep the place tidy, not that it's overly important at the moment but hopefully we'll get more members soon!
