Ben EltonI find Ben Elton's books hilarious, they're so full of deadpan humour and saracasm and outrageous situations that I find myslf laughind out loud. to be honest, I think his books are a lot funnier than his TV work, for whatever reason. My favourite of his books is probably This Other Eden, but Gridlock is also great, and High Society brought tears to my eyes as well. I love the conspiracy theories as much as the people-based humour. I'm all for literary works, but sometimes you just have to laugh, and he's perfect for that. I only wish I could write hunour even a tenth as well as he can.
