I figure anything with free entry is worth a go!

Definitely. Think I'll try and write something new. Not feeling very inspired at the mo though!

hey Em, what did you put in the entry email, they aren't very specific regarding guidelines - did you put your name and contact details in the attachment with the story itself or just in the body of the email?

Just in the email. All I put in the attachment was my name under the title of the story. Yeah I didn't think they were very specific with that!

Yeah, sometimes you're told not to put the name on the story and sometimes you're supposed to, I don't want to be disqualified for dong it wrong!

Yeah, I'm just looking at the email I sent and all I've put in the email is 'I have attached my entry for the short story competition' then I put the word count and my name, I didn't actually put any contact details, were we meant to?! Oops!

I don't know, I usually put my name and address and a phone number in the email, though if it's email entry it makes sense for them to email the results I think...

Ah well, I didn't get an email back saying it was wrong! There's no rules really on their site, it just says attach to an email.

Yeah, that's true, if they don't state a rule we can't break it! I sent it off anyway, so fingers crossed for both of us!

That's not too bad, if we'd entered ages ago it would have been a longer wait!

Have you heard from these yet, AR? I had an email today. Apparently I made it to the final (which is cool) but didn't win. Though they then said they're interested to see if I have anything over 50000 words.
