Just seen that the closing date is 31st March, so you'd have to get your arse in gear for this'n!! Laughing

I was going to have a go at this, because it sounds quite good and the theme's pretty vague. But it's not long now til the 31st!

Yeah the fact there's no minimum word count sounds atractive. Might be able to knock out something of 1000 words or so, longer stuff just isn't coming at the moment.

Ah yeah, I didn't think about the minimum word count thing, that's a point! They take flash fiction too.

Yeah, I just can't seem to write longer stories at the moment, I get stuck! With short stuff I can work it....still want to enter the other one as well but this one sounds easier somehow.

Yeah I thought it sounded quite easy. They say the theme's open for interpretation!

I wrote one sentence yesterday and that was it. I have a sort of (very) vague idea.

It's very vague though. Was thinking that I could write something about obsidian as that's a type of glass and it's black. Then was thinking maybe somebody has a teeny ornamental house made of obsidian and it's keeping something hidden inside it.

They're running a competition too, with the same theme. Free to enter, and has a longer closing date.
