Who is your favourite writer? If you could only pick one?! For me I'd have to say Robin Hobb, she's brilliant! That may change, I do think George RR Martin is brill . . . and Phillip Pullman . . . and Jonathan Stroud . . . and, ok sorry! I know I said one. Ok, Robin Hobb is my favourite.

i have a lot of difficulty picking one as well...I really love Margaret Atwood's work, but I also love reading David Eddings, I think he's hilarious, and Tolkien, I love the hobbit and Lord of the rings and the silmarilion and unfinished tales...the way he created a world with a full history is amazing, ben elton is great too for when i want a laugh, I'm very indecisive...
